Born in Lahti, famous for its majestic ski jumping hills, casting a dark shadow over the city. Mikko´s escape from his winter sporting hometown was aided by his emerging talent in storytelling. Mikko has remained a charismatic storyteller to this day and the essence of Lahti has never left him. In 2002 City magazine chose Mikko among 50 Young Hopefuls emerging from Finland with the likes of Heikki Kovalainen. As well as some other youngsters who never quite made it to the top.
