Wonderful Inka, that is Director Inka Rusi, our interesting new find

And we have already made our first job together! The goal of Neste K’s ”Woman behind the Wheel” campaign is to increase equality in traffic. According to the topic we decided to execute this production with an all female crew, from start to finish. Inka has the ability to find strength in ordinary people and bring it out effortlessly. Inka is a fun, creative and intelligent director who lights up when working together with people.

ABOUT INKA

“I was born in New York and grew up in a diplomatic family, which is probably why I’m making films.

Since 2012 I focused on filmmaking. I have worked on international feature films, documentaries and commercial advertising on productions such as LAUGH OR DIE (YLE), THE DEVIL’S, BRIDE (Netflix), GAME OF THRONES (HBO) as well as on commercial productions for clients such as British ELLE, C-More and MTV3.

In 2017, I received a Fulbright fellowship to pursue a graduate degree in film directing at California Institute of the Arts. I graduated in 2020 (what a year) with the support of the Thanks To Scandinavia Grant. My latest short film BIND has been accepted to the NARRATIVE SHORTS program at the 30th Florida Film Festival.

Before filmmaking I studied Fashion and Design in London and worked for designers such as Marios Schwab, Meadham Kirchhoff, Sonia Rykiel, Chloé and Marimekko.”
